The History of Weranda Polska
A day we'll always remember
This is a story about an encounter, gratitude, and a keepsake that reminds us that a company’s work can mean so much more than just day-to-day tasks.
That's how we'll remember this day
It wasn't just an ordinary company celebration
There are moments when our daily work, plans, and ongoing projects take a back seat. What remains is the feeling that we are part of something greater—an event built on memory, tradition, and respect for those who serve the Republic of Poland.
That is exactly how we will remember the ceremony honoring the Military Standard 18th Warsaw Territorial Defense Brigade named after Gen. Antoni Chruściel, alias „Monter”. Our company contributed to the effort to fund it, and the memento we received has become a tangible symbol of our joint effort and trust.
As we held the framed miniature of the banner in our hands, we felt, above all, pride and gratitude. It’s one of those moments that don’t end with the ceremony—they remain with the company and the people who make it what it is.
Respect comes first
For soldiers, their service, and the symbols that remind us of our responsibility to the community and the homeland.
Then, responsibility
We realized once again that a company is part of the community in which it operates and can support socially important initiatives.
And finally, the community
Because great symbols are created by people who are united by trust, memory, commitment, and a shared goal.
The Most Important Moment
A souvenir with a real story behind it
A military banner is one of the most important symbols of a unit. It unites generations, serves as a reminder of honor and loyalty to the homeland, and accompanies soldiers during their most significant moments.
That is why the framed miniature of the banner we were given means so much to us. We do not view it as just another corporate award. We see in it the story of people who were able to join forces around a shared, important cause.
This memento will hold a special place at Weranda Polska. It will remind us every time of the day when we felt that our contribution, too, had become part of something lasting.
„May the banner of the 18th Warsaw Territorial Defense Brigade unite us in service, remembrance, and loyalty to our homeland.”
Words We'll Keep Coming Back To
A Thank-You That Became a Commitment
The commemorative plaque bears words of thanks for the support, kindness, and commitment shown in the effort to fund the banner. As we read these words, we felt more than just joy at receiving this honor. We also felt a sense of responsibility to continue supporting initiatives that are important to our community and to Poland.
That is precisely why we want to preserve this story on our blog—so that the memory of this event does not remain solely in the company’s annals, but can be passed on to others.
